We are an Irish-owned, family run pharmacy company based in Co. Wicklow. We opened Roundwood Pharmacy on the Main Street in Roundwood, Co. Wicklow in 2006. Four years later, in 2010, we opened Rathnew Pharmacy in The Merrymeeting Centre, Rathnew, Co. Wicklow.
Our experience
Over the years we have met many people who have difficulty visiting their pharmacy due to a variety of reasons including illness, injury, transport issues etc. We have heard lots of stories of people finding it difficult to get their doctor’s surgery or to call in to the pharmacy for their medicines. Ever since we opened our first pharmacy eight years we have been running an informal prescription collection and prescription medicine delivery service to many of our customers in County Wicklow.
Following on from this, we decided to invest in a more comprehensive suite of home pharmacy services. We created Pharmacy HoME Link to deliver pharmacy services directly to people in their homes. The service has been growing for a number of years and is particularly helpful for people living in areas where there is no pharmacy nearby.
